He Did It!!

For months now i have been trying to teach my (almost 3) monkey how to draw faces, arms and legs and for months all i have received is hard scratchy scribbles. Now don't get me wrong i love the scribble pictures but not love love them if you know what i mean.

So last night when Liam showed me what he was up to at his desk i was in total shock! He (for the VERY first time) drew a face with arms and legs, but no, not just any face it was a bunny rabbit! also sporting a carrot to-boot!

Here are some pic's of his master piece!

For those struggling to work it out here is the run down:

Rabbit ears up the top, large circle is the body with a nose inside that, you then have two faint arms off to the left and right and two strong legs with feet down the bottom.

And lastly to the right of the Rabbit that would be his/hers carrot....... of course!

As for master I, well now, he was a totally another story! LOL

There's a baby in the flower patch :)

Saturday following their family Mini Christmas Special i had asked mum and dad if i could please borrow little miss L so that i could try out a few new things in a HOT little spot i have been eyeing out for a few weeks now. Even though we didn't get through everything i wanted i still managed to fulfill some of my vision.

S thank you so very much for letting me borrow your princess for an hour and trusting in my vision. To little miss L you where a little trooper and thank you for being my little model.

Enjoy, your CD of photos will be in the mail tomorrow :)
This one is for mum as i know she LOVES B & W

Mini Christmas Special - Coogee Beach

I love this family, and i couldn't think of a better way to spend one hour at one location.
This is the second time i have photographed them so if you think you have seen them before it's because you have and not your mind playing tricks on you ;0)
We started out on the cliff top at Coogee then moving down to the beach where the both the kids LOVED playing in the sand (sorry mum and dad I'm sure they both had sand in the 'best' places!)

B & L are growing up so fast and i love it when clients come back to me to help document the growth of their child/ren (it really is one of the best things about my job)

Thank you B & S for coming back to me and believing in me. It was wonderful to catch up again and have a good 'chin wag'

PS: This family took up the Christmas Mini Special!

The day the Princess married her Prince

F & M have been good friends of ours for a few years now. We met in birthing class way back in 2006! Since then our friendship has blossomed and along the way we (along with our other mummy friends) have helped each other raise our very handsome young lads.
M surprised F by proposing to her on his birthday. This was so she would be surprised and i think i can safely say that it worked.
M & F share a love for each other, most would be envious for, they seem to be able to read each other without even muttering a word and you just know the M is F rock.
It's their kind of love that had me bawling my eyes out during the speeches (ok and a bit before), it so pure, natural and real.

F surprised most of the guests by arriving at the church 5 min early (almost before the groom!!) As she stepped out of the vintage Jaguar she took my breath away, so perfect, just glowing and utterly stunning (one of the best things about taking photo's is you can hide behind the camera when you end up with a tear or two).
You could tell that this wedding was meant to be, you know when sometimes you just know what's about to happen is the right thing and it's all for the right reasons, well i believe this was just one of them.

I also need to thank a few of F & M friends and family for teaching me how to dance the Zorba (among other dances i learnt). I could tell i had fun by the way i wasn't able to move my body out of bed the next morning along with the sizable blisters to-boot!
F & M your more then likely lounging by the pool, being waiting on, and enjoying a much deserved break. I can't wait for you to get back, catch up and flick through your offical Wedding photo's.
(p.s. I was not M & F offical Wedding photographer i took the back seat and enjoyed myself as a guest)
Love this photo! F son K giving her the a-ok!
The soft touch from F & M son K
A very (i must stress very) rare photograph of me, along with the amazing bride F and S our best friend (anyone would want to have) ps: (Glenn did the honours and took this)
