The best way to end the year!

There was honestly no better way to round up photographing for 2009.

Little J is a living miracle, at just 3 days old he was rushed to a Brisbane Hospital for open heart surgery, and fought for his little life. Today however, you would never know that he had such a scarey start to life. J is one of those babies you meet and you walk away wishing you could have snuck him your handbag and brought him home he is so calm and LOVES to smile.
It was such an honour to photograph this little man and without further a-do here is your sneek peek:

Family

It was such a pleasure to photograph this family this afternoon. T & B are friends of ours from the Navy and they asked me if I could please take some photos of T and her family, for her parents for Christmas. Of course I jumped at the opportunity, who wouldn't when they are ALL so photogenic.

Whilst I was taking photos of T with her brother and sisters I decided that I would also take some personal photos for T & B whom are due to be married early in the New Year.

I really hope you like these T & B, and more importantly that mum and dad LOVE them.
CD will be in the letterbox tomorrow xx

BOYS!

On Sunday I had the pleasure of photographing A & B 3 boys, S,W & M. We firstly arranged to meet at Coogee for this session but after quite a lot of time waisted looking for parks we decided to head off to Centennial Park.

I know this family already as A & I used to do Friday night Defence Craft together (i use the word 'used to' as she now lives in Newcastle) and sometimes when B was away she would bring the boys along too. It was so wonderful to see them all again.
I believe A is the type of person you just want to be around ALWAYS she is so bubbly and smiling that it's hard to be any other emotion other then happy when your around her, and for that I miss her the most.

I stupidly thought that seeming i knew these boys it was going to be a breeze of a job, but these boys sure made me work just as hard at their session as I would normally! And to be totally honest with you S was the first 'teen' I have ever worked with so working with him was very unfamiliar ground for me, but I think I managed to work it out and pull off some great shots.

A & B your respective CD's are in the mail, you should have them in a few days. Thank you for allowing me the pleasure of photographing your 3 boys both on the ground and up in tree's! :)

I LOVE how Mum's can make this:

Perfect

That's really the one word that sums up this family (oh and maybe good-looking as well)

I caught up with this fellow defence family on Saturday morning (9am!), and the light was just perfect! (families if your kids are early risers this is an awesome time to get some photo's done) Little miss S was a little shy at first but clearly she warmed up and got those smiles (and yes tongue) out!

L & L you are rasing such a gorgeous little girl, with a strong mind of her own. I hope that you enjoy spending some time together and most importantly, Christmas as a family.

Your CD is in the post :) xx

12 years waiting

This family where so amazing.

The love that filled their home was amazing.
The baby they brought into this world is simply.... amazing.

Little S was born very premature, he was in fact 3 months early, but that did not stop this little man fighting his way into the world. Mum suffers a long list of genetic disorders (lupus being the main one) but still after 12 years of fighting for a baby and finding a team of Dr.s at the Royal Hospital for Women to make her dreams come true Master S made those dreams become a reality.
Even when S was hit with a few set backs he still proved so many wrong, showing mum and dad that he was their little fighter no matter what.
Now at 6 months old (but really 3months) Master S was a bundle of smiles, coo's, and gaa's, in fact you wouldn't know how much his been through until someone told you.

T & M are an amazing couple, with M risking it all to live out every women's dream. T picks up the night shifts to allow M to rest (due to her Lupus) and then carries on a full LONG day at work...... amazing. (see is wasn't joking about how amazing this family was, was I!)

T & M is was such an honour that you allowed me into your family not only to capture yourselves but to also capture each and everyone that is so special to you. Enjoy your sneak peak and I look forward to catching up with you all again.

Your disk of photos will be in your letterbox soon xx
