soon

Lots to edit and blog, sorry for the delay.
In the mean time here is one to keep you going taken from a session earlier this month of a little lady:

40

R turned 40, not that you know he was 40, he didn't look a day over 35, but he promises that he is definitely 40! Here are just a few photo's as most of the photo's are of their guest, so i will leave them for R and his family to enjoy, but here are a few for the rest of us :)

Location: Maroubra Seals, Maroubra
Band: Ebony & Ivory
Cake: Unique Cakes, Rosebery

Such a awesome family

It wasn't hard to get the girls in front of the camera,
the guys on the other hand where a little more tricky!

Little Z

Miss Z was so so little, yet so so awake!

At just over 2 weeks old when we did her session, and despite the fact that she still had all the pealing newborn skin, Miss Z was out and proud of her curly sleepy newborn stage, and busy getting used to the startling reflex. So every time we crossed her legs they would spring right open again, and the same with her arms, you get them placed and they spring open.

This is why it's fundamental to have the newborn session in the first 2 weeks of life. Having said that Miss Z snoozed in patches to allow me to at least capture some sleepy photo's for her mum and dad.

M & H thank you so much for having me, i really hope you enjoy your (rather large) sneak peek of your little princess, and i look forward to catching up again soon.

xx Kirst

This one is for all Miss Z's family in NZ.
Miss Z half Greek, half Kiwi, she is already showing off her Haka skills

Father & Daughter, there is nothing else in the world quite like it.

TWiiNS

TWiiNS

We all love them (come on admit it), they make us so curious as to how one cope’s and survives with them, with two little miracles rather than one. So many questions; do you run the same routine for both or just go with the flow? Are they identical? Do they have different personalities? Does one look like you and the other like dad? How much did they weigh? Are there twiins in the family? And the one that (I reckon) EVERY woman is asked (twiins or not): when’s the next one/ or are you having any more?

I’m sure most of us probably stop a mum with twiins to find out the details (ok maybe it’s just me) but there is just something about them that makes us all stop for a moment (even if a spilt second) and wonder: could I do it?

Just bare with me for a moment while I insert a clause to all my family and friends: NO I am not pregnant with twiins!!

What I am wanting to do is put the call out there, to anyone that is pregnant with twiins.

I Kirstin from KirstinLee Photography would LOVE to photograph your babies. As I am yet to be blessed to photograph twiins I would like to give you your newborn session for free, yes that is right FREE! Your twiins can come any which way; boy/ boy, girl/ girl, boy/ girl I would just be happy for the experience. Please also understand that for the best outcome from your (free!) newborn session you will need to take it with-in the first 2 weeks of life (closer to birth date the better).

So how do you get your hands on this AWSOME freebie? Simple :) : If you are interested please feel free to email me: kirstinleephotography@hotmail.com or phone: 0421 077 419 to book in your newborn Twiin session (for FREE!- sorry just had to add that again!)

And as no blog is complete without a photo, here is one taken from today’s session:

Miss A - Fathers Day Session

"Fathers carry pictures where their money used to be."

Poor Miss A was so sick for this session, poor little thing had a cold and a inner ear infection but dispite all that she still managed to smile her cheeky smile.
Due to A's illness we decided to do this session in two, 1/2 hr sections (popping into the pub to de-frost and having something to eat) due to the (almost) freezing conditions in Moss Vale.
I have to admit dispite the cold i had so much fun at this session, and best of all i got to take something back to Sydney with me; a cold yeap a mighty big head cold, you know the one, the type that leaves you unable to think and sounding like a teenage boy on helium, i'm still trying to get over it!
Here is a large sneek peek, i have had to hold onto these since the middle of August, due to the photo's being Miss A's Fathers Day present.

Location: down town Moss Vale, Sydney

I love this next little series of photos
