Home

It so amazing how much you take for granted, and it's sad that it's normally not until your Best friend leaves you that you notice.

G has been away, to L even if his away overnight or away for months it's still all the same to him. This time luckily it was just for a week, but L did his normal cold shoulder send off when G left and greeted him with massive cuddles and a squealing hello, like all is forgiven.

Despite what you might think i have two of the most uncooperative boys that really sigh rather loudly when the camera comes out, so when i asked them both to please let me get a photo of them sharing G uniform and they both said 'sure' i was in shock and snapped endlessly.

The RAN (Royal Australian Navy) now have a new uniform and i think G was almost one of the last to be issued it so whilst it was at home and new i wanted to get some photo's (naturally)

One of his favorite things

As the rain yet again begins to pour outside, my son rushes to his fathers side grabs his hand and tugs it whilst begging him to keep his promise...... to build him a new Thomas track.

L loves nothing more then pouring endless amounts of hours into playing with his trains, and its made even more special when he gets to sit down with this 'best friend' (his dad) to build a whole new track. I love the way he places his finishing touches to the Islands new land scape.... a few cows on Jeremy's landing strip along with sir top 'n' hat and his people lining up along the bends.

As i sit down with my cuppa tea i hear his sweet little 2.5 yr old voice tell his 'mates' to hop on board and off he chugs around the table once more.

Fun in the Park

It's nice to take a few hours out, sit back and photograph your own child. It is so easy to get caught up on helping capture the moments for everyone else that when the chance comes to photograph him, to be honest i am normally 'over it'.

I shouldn't be like that i know because he is just growing up so fast. His not that little baby now and has boy's hands along with strong 'running' legs that are adorned with all the cuts, scratches and bruises that can tell you exactly what his been up too. Yet despite this, he still manages to amaze me each and every day and i love nothing more then when he tells me I'm his 'best friend'. I know this wont last forever but for now i cherish it.
It's so different photographing L as he is so so so over having the camera in his face and as you can imagine i have ALOT of photos at the moment of the back of his head or that dreaded 'fake' smile.

So today i just sat and watched him play and took photo's when he wanted them taken and i am glad that i took this approach as i got some really awesome pictures of him.

Dusty Ol' day in Sydney

Well needless to say you have more then likely heard about our freak one in a life time dust storm that hit old Sydney town! Well here are some photos taken down my street.

It was rather scary waking up to a dust storm to be honest i thought the house across the street was on fire as my window was glowing orange. It's something i will surely remember for the rest of my life.

Now to clean up the orange dirt left behind, and as you can imagine my black car is...well.... not black anymore!
This is the orange glow i woke up to........eerie isn't it!
I can normally see centre point tower from this spot but as you can see you can't see very much at all!

5 days new

It seems to be 'raining' babies at the moment, i have friends and family popping left right and centre and more announcing their exciting news!

I would like you to meet baby L his so cute little and cheeky! Mum told me that his good at sleeping but it looks like he decided to stay away for his photo shoot and see what all the fuss was all about. I have no doubt N that L ended up sleeping the afternoon sleeping for you (fingers crossed) He did however sleep for the first half of his shoot so i go some very cute photos.
I can't wait to head back to this awesome family soon to take some family 'mug' shots! ;0)
Let me warn you this is a sneek peek over load so sorry if it takes a while to download i couldn't pick :)
